°Ä²Ê¿ª½± offers multiple options to get you home to rest and recharge during school breaks.

2024 Fall Break Transportation

°Ä²Ê¿ª½± provides shuttle break transportation to regional transportation hubs. Sign up below to reserve your On-Demand Shuttle seat. There will not be a separate survey or email sent out for break travel. All break travel requests can be submitted through the °Ä²Ê¿ª½± student only request link below.

Please note: during breaks, we cannot accommodate any On-Demand Shuttle requests outside of our already scheduled times.

Reservations

All Transportation Requests

If you're making a round trip, fill out the form once for departure and once for return, for a total of two submissions.

Reservation Deadline

We ask that you submit your request at least two business days in advance, taking into account business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday). For example, if you need a ride at 1 p.m. on Friday, you will need to send in your request no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. For trips occurring on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, put in your request no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Fees

All fees will be billed through the TouchNet stores.

Students

  • Syracuse Hancock International Airport: $50, one way.
  • Syracuse Regional Transportation Center: $50, one way.  
  • Utica Boehlert Transportation Center: $30, one way.

Employees, and Departmental Guests

  • Syracuse Hancock International Airport: $100, one way.
  • Syracuse Regional Transportation Center: $100, one way.  
  • Utica Boehlert Transportation Center: $60, one way.

Shuttle Times

Syracuse Airport and Utica Bus/Train Station

To: 3 a.m., 6 a.m., 9 a.m., Noon, 3:00 p.m.
From: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m., 11:59 p.m.

Utica Bus/Train Station

To: 6:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m.
From: 3 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m.

Schedules are valid year-round, operating every day except on University holidays.

Megabus

Megabus offers trips from campus to Port Authority in New York City for academic breaks. Pick-up and drop-off will be in front of the James C. °Ä²Ê¿ª½± Student Union on College St.

My Bus Home

My Bus Home offers affordable bus transportation to Newton, Mass., and White Plains, N.Y., with pick-up and drop-off on campus.

Price

Pricing per trip depends on the destination and the number of students who register. A 1-way fare is half the price of a round trip.

Fare Policy

A minimum of 30 riders are required per trip, you will be notified before the trip deadline if there are not enough students for a bus.
