Lou Kamniski

Lou Kaminski began on April 10 as an assistant dean for student conduct. Lou was previously employed at Paul Smith’s College as director of student life and housing. He received his bachelor of science in criminal justice and master of arts in criminal justice from California University of Pennsylvania. He enjoys distance running, camping, hiking the high peaks in the Adirondacks, and just about any other outdoor adventure. He also loves to read, explore new cities outside of the United States, and spending time with his Weimaraner, Enzo, and white boxer, Evie. 

Alicia LaFever

Alicia LaFever began on April 17 as a department administrator for major gifts. Alicia was previously employed at GHD Consulting as a water/wastewater engineer. She received her bachelor of science degree in civil engineering with a minor in engineering management from Syracuse University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Brio, and family; bird-watching with her Weimaraner, Gladys; making greeting cards and other crafts; event planning; and house renovations.

Sky Moody

Sky Moody began on April 12 as an assistant director of advancement operations. Sky was previously employed at Syracuse University as a data analyst. She received her BS in biology from Mercyhurst University. She enjoys hiking, camping, supporting local businesses and eateries, and spending time with her 3-year-old GSD/husky, Tristan.

Patrick Ryan

Patrick Ryan began on May 15 as an energy manager. Patrick was previously an energy manager at SUNY Oneonta. He attended Cornell University and is the proud father of 12-year-old triplets, Colton, Sophie, and Shaelan.

Claire Richardson

Claire Richardson began on May 5 as classroom and event support specialist. Claire was previously employed at Sherwin Williams as an assistant manager. She attended Hartwick College for computer science. She enjoys traveling, going for hikes, 3D printing/designing, listening to college radio, performing on stage or even working behind the scenes in lighting and sound, darkroom/digital photography, being an LGBTQIA+ advocate, and spending time with her dog, Joy.

Amari Simpson

Amari Simpson began on May 1 as director for diversity and equity. Amari was previously employed at SUNY Brockport as an associate director of student activities programming. He received his BA in psychology and global health and education studies minor from Middlebury College, his EdM in curriculum and teaching secondary science from Boston University, and his PhD in education policy, organization, and leadership from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He enjoys photography, running, walking, hiking, skating, gaming on the Switch, crocheting, and spending time with his partner, Jeremy, friends, and cats Momo and Waffles.
