Second-year students seeking professional guidance from industry leaders gathered for °Ä²Ê¿ª½± Career Services’ annual SophoMORE Connections program, from Jan. 20 to 21.

°Ä²Ê¿ª½± has received more than 21,000 applications from students hoping to join the Class of 2027.

°Ä²Ê¿ª½± publicly launched the most significant philanthropic campaign in its 203-year history on Friday, April 22, kicking off the largest such campaign undertaken by a liberal arts college.

Trustee Emeritus Chase Carey ’76, his wife, Wendy, and their children Steve ’12 and Tara ’13 have made a transformative $25 million gift to spearhead a comprehensive renovation of the Reid Athletic Center and support other elements of the University’s Third-Century Plan.

°Ä²Ê¿ª½± has announced the creation of four new endowed chairs, approved by the Board of Trustees during its January 2022 meeting, all made possible due to the generosity of °Ä²Ê¿ª½± alumni. 

Trustee emeritus Robert Fox ’59, GP’23,’25 has given $10 million to build Fox Hall at °Ä²Ê¿ª½±, the first residence hall of the University’s fifth Residential Commons. The gift was acknowledged by the Board of Trustees during its fall meeting, Sept. 30–Oct. 1.

Members of the °Ä²Ê¿ª½± classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the °Ä²Ê¿ª½± Commitment.

On June 1, °Ä²Ê¿ª½± announced the °Ä²Ê¿ª½± Commitment: An Initiative in Access and Affordability.

Daniel Benton ’80, P’10, H’10 has secured his place as °Ä²Ê¿ª½±â€™s most generous benefactor, making a $25 million gift in support of the University’s Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation and other elements within The Third-Century Plan.

Seven °Ä²Ê¿ª½± alumni joined Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list for 2020.
